Tara Chowdhury received a PhD in Neural Science in 2014 from New York University, where she studied how pyramidal cell dendrites and inhibitory synapses in the hippocampus respond to adolescent experience in rodents.
She joined the Moghaddam Lab in 2015 as a postdoctoral associate to study how sex differences and adolescent development of motivated behaviors and the dopamine system contribute to vulnerability to psychiatric illnesses.
