Junchol Park

Biography
Junchol Park is a graduate student working toward his Ph.D. as a member of the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh. Junchol received his B.A. and M.A. from Korea University.

His research focuses on the following topics:

1. How is the risk of aversive events associated with appetitive goal-directed behaviors encoded by the mesocortical neurons and their ensembles?

2. How do anxiogenic drugs modulate single unit activity and local field potential oscillations in the prefrontal cortex of adolescent rats?
